Nature or Nurture
18 March 2008While walking in the city yesterday a homeless woman looked at me and yelled “You’re arrested you stupid bitch!” right as we passed each other. I couldn’t help but wonder if the statement was born of the substance abuse and/or mental illness she clearly suffered from or if she was parroting something that was said to her in the course of an altercation with the police. The latter possibilty made me a bit sad.

Maybe, just maybe, she was actually an undercover cop and, at this moment, you are a fugitive from justice.
