Treading in Tepid Water
9 April 2007There are differing levels of stress that we allow ourselves to feed on. The triggers are often outside of our control yet the impact is no less severe.
To date, this year has presented its own set of challenges: unexpected surgery, job restructuring which sent 80% of my co-workers out the door, 90 mile (2+ hour) commute, trying to sell the house and move out of state, and more tests which confirm we’ll probably never have kids naturally.
The result is a sustained bloodletting of my coping mechanism reserves. I’m weary.

Oh Amy I am sorry. You guys really have had way too much on your plate lately. The fertility news just seems unfair.

Thanks. Just found out that my friends schizophrenic cousin is pregnant. It’s a strange world we live in.
