Impulse Control

We had a great trip to Colorado. Unfortunately we were too busy looking at models to do any real sightseeing, but we did drive through a number of towns to get a feel for them. Our front-end research had produced an impressive list of statistics on schools, crime and builders which provided a basis for which towns we would consider. Going into the adventure our favorite was Pulte Homes. They were building a community called “Anthem Colorado” out in Broomfield and one of their floor plans met most of the requirements I had for our next home. They were the first stop out of many and also the last. We are in contract for a home scheduled to be completed in July 2007. I’m still in shock.

    :smile: Hi! Patty told us that you had jumped right in a bought a house. I think that is great and I think that you will like Colorado a lot. My sister (she and Brad live in Fort Collins) says that you can feel free to call them if you have any questions ????? I think that if you make up your mind to do something it is best to just get on with it. The pictures of the house look great except for the decorating which seems so unColorado. I am sure you are getting ALOT more house than you can in Calif. Anyway, good luck and keep us posted on your progress. Love, Melinda

    We felt the same way … it was time to stop complaining about Vallejo and just go for it and get out. The whole venture is overwhelming, scary and very exciting. We miss you guys - thanks for checking in!

    I can’t believe they’re in Fort Collins! We came really close to ending up there and I think we would have if it weren’t for Amy getting such a sweet offer to transfer to Louisville. It seems like a great place, but we’re awfully excited about where we picked too. Thanks for the kind words.

    I heard on the news today about a huge snow storm in Colorado and I thought of you guys. You are in for an adventure.
